Humans In Space 2055
It’s the year 2055 and Astronauts and Engineers are inspecting geostationary satellites to ensure optimal functionality. These satellites orbit the earth at the same rotational speed as earth itself - this allows the satellites to remain fixed over a single point on the earth’s surface
Their stationary positions make them ideal for applications like relaying television, internet, and telephone signals. They are also used for weather monitoring and for observing earth - monitoring environmental changes /natural disasters in specific areas.
Conquering Space
As he stares at the earth from his station, the astronaut muses: 'We think we conquered space, but space conquered us - its beauty, its silence, its infinite possibilities'.
Relaxing In Space
Inside my space capsule I feel infinite, yet at the same time small - I fall asleep and find myself outside my capsule surrounded by sound and colour. Floating around, it seems as if time is endless and then suddenly, as if someone has given me a soft shake, I wake up feeling refreshed and energized - ready to commence my duties.
Our Boundless Curiosity
Finally we have learned how to change gravity. This enables us to built outposts in space and to visit other planets and meet up with other beings.
