Brief History
Music has always been an important part of my life. I enjoy many different styles, including country, blues, English, Irish and Scottish folk music, contemporary music, jazz, classical music, opera and symphonic rock.
By the age of seventeen, I was performing professionally as a solo artist in sports clubs, restaurants, weddings, corporate celebrations and other special events.
Over the years, I have also collaborated with many musicians and singers and have appeared as a guest artist in a variety of shows.
Alongside performing, I have taught singing, keyboard and music theory. I have also coached and mentored singers and musicians at different stages of their musical journeys.
In my late twenties, I decided to further my knowledge of singing, music and performance. This led me to complete the following qualifications:
Licentiate in Performance with Hons. - Australian Society of Composition and Musicology
LTCL Recital in Singing with Distinction
Diploma of the St Cecilia School of Music with Honours in Performance
Registered St Cecilia School of Music Singing Teacher
I see myself as a singer, musician and composer with a broad range of knowledge and experience in music and performance. I am forward-thinking, creative and always willing to continue learning.
