A solo performer since the age of 17 - contemporary music -  and a music teacher and vocal coach since 2012.

I composed my first piece of music when I was six years old and I named my composition after a shampoo, ZP11.

Recalling my early development as a musician, I think of  Vangelis, Harold Faltermeyer,Jeff Wayne and Mike Batt and the band Schiller - and how these musicians influenced my own early music compositions.

I think of singers like Barbra Streisand, Barbara Dickson, Miriam Stockley, Sarah Brightman and later, opera singers Maria CallasJoan Sutherland, Kiri Te Kanawa and Katherine Jenkins - who all played a role in my decision to become a singer myself.

I also appreciate bands like Clannad, Enigma, Police, Queen, Pink Floyd and Metallica and I believe that these bands and a few other bands - have played a positive role in my development as a musician.

Fact is, I enjoy all kinds of music, no matter the country no matter the genre, if it sounds good I listen to it.

Furthermore, I enjoy singing and listening to the music of composers Mozart, Beethoven, Rachmaninov, Stravinsky and Gaetano Donizetti,

In my spare time I arrange music and I create backing tracks for my own use as well as for other musicians and singers.

On my music page you can also listen to some of my early compositions.  And please read my blogs and listen to my podcasts  - it will be available soon.

Below is a video of me practicing a song:
