Based in Manly West, Queensland, Australia, Veronica is registered as a Teacher of Singing Performance with the St. Cecilia School of Music, Australia.('Reg'd SCSM Teacher.) She also holds the following qualifications:
Dip.SCMS (Hons) (Perf), LTCL Recital in Singing (Distinction) and a L.Perf.ASMC (Hons).
She values all types of music, and when she recalls her childhood and her development as a musician, she credits musicians like Vangelis, Harold Faltermeyer,Jeff Wayne and Mike Batt and the band Schiller amongst a few others as having influenced, her own music.
She lists her singing influencers as Barbra Streisand, Barbara Dickson, Miriam Stockley, Sarah Brightman and later opera singers Maria Callas, Joan Sutherland, Kiri Te Kanawa and Katherine Jenkins just to name a few,
Veronica composed her first piece of music when she was six years old and she named her composition after a shampoo, ZP11.
At nine years of age she won her first public singing competition and this lead to invitations from musicians to her, to be part of their shows. From which flows that over the years many musicians played a role and provided Veronica with opportunities to develop musically.
With their assistance and mentoring she gained a broad spectrum of skills, knowledge and understanding as far as singing, playing keyboards, performing various styles of music, arranging music and recording backing tracks, are concerned.
In 1992, at the age of 14 she had the opportunity to perform at a Variety Artists Annual Ball which was held in Auckland, New Zealand and in the audience were the Patron, The Rt. Hon. Sir Robert Muldoon, a former Prime Minister of New Zealand and his wife Lady Muldoon.
Veronica had the privilege again the following year to perform for Lady Muldoon. In the years that followed Veronica would have similar opportunities, that's to say she would perform in front of various dignitaries and audiences.
Since the age of 17 she has performed as a solo artist at a wide variety of venues - organising and managing her own shows and sound - as well as taking part in concerts and shows, organised by others.
In 2008 she had another wonderful opportunity - performing for The Rt. Hon. Helen Clark, who at the time was the Prime Minister of New Zealand.
