According the late Indian Spiritual Master Shirdi Sai Baba: Life is a song - sing it. Life is a game - play it. Life is a challenge - meet it. Life is a dream - realize it. Life is a sacrifice - offer it. Life is love - enjoy it!.

A Quote from Jelly Roll Morton:

Jazz music is to be played sweet, soft, plenty rhythm. When you have your plenty rhythm, with a plenty swing, it becomes beautiful. Unquote.

Jelly Roll Morton was Jazz’s first Arranger, and he led a recording Jazz Band 'Red Hot Peppers' from 1926 to 1930.

It was a seven- or eight-piece band formed in Chicago that recorded for Victor and featured the best New Orleans-style freelance musicians available. But he was much more than this. If you are interested to know more, please check him out on YouTube.

Today I would like to quote English author poet and satirist of the English Augustan period, Alexander Pope.

He was born May 21, 1688, London, England and died May 30, 1744, Twickenham, near London.

I quote him :

‘Music resembles poetry; in each are nameless graces which no methods teach, And which a master - hand alone can reach’ unquote.

Wise words from so many years ago!  A most interesting man. It is said that he is the 2nd most quoted author in the Oxford Dictionary of Quotations.

Here is some of his words that still have meaning today:

To err is human, to forgive is divine

A little learning is a dangerous thing

Fools rush in where angels fear to tread.

There are so many more - please look Alexander Pope up, here is the link.

It is said that sound healing is evidence based. And sound therapists point to Quantum Physics, NASA, Einstein, and others - to verify their believe that:  'everything in the universe are vibrations of energy'

If we accept this, then energy is supposed to flow freely through and within a person's body. In turn one can then infer that physical and mental conditions, ailments, and injury, can cause a person's natural energy flow to become weakened.

And this view is held by sound therapists who will use sound frequencies to rebalance/restore a clients's own natural energy, to a level where the client's body can resume its normal natural energy flow in order for change or healing to take place in their lives.

Sound therapists use various methods, music instruments, sound therapy tools and voice during therapy sessions. Each tool will have a unique frequency and each frequency will have a specific purpose in the energy repair process.

So, my overall aim as a sound therapist is to assist people to use their own natural healthy energies to heal themselves.

Today I would like to quote Sir George Martin composer/musician and so much more, in that: 'Music is like the work of an artist painting in sounds, with the colour in harmony' unquote.

What an incredible person. So many musicians are indebted to him for the value he added to their careers. There should be a special day each year to celebrate his life and his contribution to music. Please for more information about this very special composer/musician click on the hyperlink above.

According to the English composer Edward Elgar

'There is music in the air, music all around us; The world is full of it and you simply take as much as you require' unquote.

Sir Edward William Elgar was born in 1857 and he died in 1934, he was 77 years old.

There are experts who believe that Sir Elgar is the most significant British composer since Henry Purcell, a composer who died in 1695, at the age of thirty-six.

There is a 239-year gap between these two composers, am I to believe that there was no other composer of significance in between these years? But then who am I to challenge experts.

Sir Edward Elgar composed one of his best-known works ‘The Enigma Variations, Op. 36  in 1899. Please check him out, I have provided the hyperlink above. I really enjoy Sir Elgar's music.
